Solen ENERGY VERITAS Adapter Faceplate for ND25FN-4 and/or OC25SC6504.
This 3D printed faceplate is intended as a replacement for the tweeter used in some models in the Energy Veritas lineup. It was tested in a pair of V-6.3 and provided a nice and smooth frequency response. The faceplate has a width of 70mm and height of 53mm.
This faceplate was designed to work with the Dayton Audio ND25FN-4 and/or Peerless OC25SC6504. You will need to purchase the tweeter and the speaker connector (GFD205-1614R) separately.
To install the tweeter on the faceplate you fit it into the opening and twist it. You then have to use something to fix it in place and prevent air leaks (we use hot glue).
The installation steps are : remove the silver cover, remove the original tweeter, cut the speaker connector that is connected to the positive terminal, install the new speaker connector (it is recommended to solder it to the wire), connect the speaker wires to the new tweeter, install the tweeter in the opening and put back the silver cover.
