Seas Odin mk3
The Seas Odin mk3 is a completely redesigned version of the
very popular Odin kit.
It is an 34 litres two way D'Appolito bass reflex enclosure.
Several hundred hours of laboratory testing and listening
have gone in to this system. You lterally can't tell where
the woofers leave off and the tweeter begins.
Frequency response 33Hz to 25KHz
Efficiency: 89db 1w/1m.
The tweeter is the Seas T25-002 Millennium from the excel line.
The Woofers are the Seas Excel W18E001
magnesium cone 6.5 inches.
The low pass filter is a 3rd order with a second order zero. An addition network is placed
in parallel with the woofers to serve the dual purpose of tailoring the frequency
response and removing the magnesium cone frequency peak.
The high pass network is a third order Butterworth with an additional impedance
compensation network. The X-over frequency is 2.5Khz.
The Odin mk3 was designed by Dr. Joseph D'Appolito, and developed as a companion
kit to the Thor transmission line system.
Also available in sheilded form for Home theater application.
